Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR Beats Corvette ZR1 at Nurburgring

A while back I posted a YouTube link of the new Corvette ZR1 lapping Nurburgring, which apparently was a record at 7:26.

Well, the fine enthusiasts over at the Viper Club of America convinced Dodge's Street & Racing Technology team (SRT) to ship a Viper SRT-10 ACR over to Nurburgring to try and beat the Vette's time, which they did by running 7:22. Note that the ACR stands for American Club Racer. Jalopnik.com has a pretty good writeup of the Viper ACR here.

Frankly, I don't give a damn which is faster at Nurburgring. I can't afford either car. I just liking watching in-car camera footage of someone muscling a hot rod around a 7 mile road course.
